SHINee – the First Mini Album

A long post about what I think about their first Mini album keke. XD

SHINee should be glad that I am doing their album first here XD Was going for FT Island, but I stopped for a reason. I wonder why. LOL. Anyway, these are my thoughts about the album.

SHINee is a pretty new group from the famous music company in Korea, S.M Entertainment. Lee Soo Man, the founder of SM Ent., made lots of famous celebrities debute in the music industry. You might have probably heard of them before, S.E.S., ShinHwa, H.o.T., BoA, Dong Bang Shin Gi/Toho Shinki and there are still coming more. In May, SHINee debuted with Noona neomu yebbeo (Replay). The music video stars the soon-to-debut Victoria Song, also from SM Ent. SHINee is a young group made of 5 young boys: Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin. Before their debut, they didn’t get many advertisement from SM Ent, but just a few days before their debut there were news. It was said, they are a fusion of Bigbang and FT Island. For me, they don’t really have the BB&FTI for me lol. Soon there was a teaser of their coming up MV. On May 25 they debuted with their Mini Album ^^

Noona neomu yebbeo (Replay) – 누나 너무 예뻐 (Replay)
It’s a catchy song. I like the beat. I think the song does make you wanna dance and smile. Jonghyun and Onew have a big part in this song. Jonghyun’s voice is pretty unique. I really like Onew’s and Key’s voice though. You can’t hear much of Minho, which is too bad, his voice is pretty low and nice ;_; But he is one of the rappers along with Key. Taemin get Saraa sort of solo, but you can’t really hear it, or it’s just me. His voice doesn’t stand out much for me. I like how they go Replay replay replay~ It get stuck in your head for a long time. XD

In my room
A slow song and kind of weird in a way. Maybe it’s just me haha. In this song Minho and Taemin doesn’t get to sing. Poor guys ;_; The song is a nice song. Their voices match together and sound good. But it is still kind of my least favorite song lol. I don’t hate it or dislike it, but I like the other songs better ^^ The melody is pretty nice though : D

Real
This song is pretty different from the previous songs, it catchy but more faster than the first song. I really like the beat and melody together. Maybe it’s the rap, that I like it so much. The way they rapped is amusing XD 8D Haha, the chorus isn’t bad though. It’s a great song. : D

Sarang . kye . han (Love should go on) – 사랑.계.한 (Love should go on)
I like how it starts, Our Love should go on. XD The rap in the beginning is catchy, I like it a lot. I think Minho and Key are good at rapping keke. Although when Taemin sing You make me fresh, it’s kind of weird. HAHA. It sounds really funny, but that’s me XD

Noona neomu yebbeo (Replay-boom track) – 누나 너무 예뻐 (Replay-Boom Track)
This the remix of Noona Neomu Yebbeo. I don’t think it’s bad, it’s actually nice. However, it’s not much special as it is just a remix XD Although I like it how they mixed Minho’s voice in here (I love you girl <= sang by Minho) keke. XD

Overall of the album is not bad. The jacket of the album is pretty cool. But I have expected mroe pics though in a way, it doesn’t look like there are 40 pages XD The boys looks adorable in the pics though ^O^ So it’s good in a way 8D Would have been great if there are more songs lol. One thing I don’t really like is that the small photobook/booklet is in the inside of the album, lol. Since it’s small I don’t like it how it is inside. But the album case (well you can’t really call it a case though ._.) is nice though. I like it anyway ^O^
